Jennifer Scott, Administrator

Before joining Mom's Best Friend, Jennifer was most recently the Vice President of Facility Development and Operations for the Tree of Life Care Group (TLCG), LLC. Her responsibilities included starting the company, facility design, naming and branding initiatives, program development, and compliance. She has been in healthcare since 1984, working with a variety of people with disabilities. She has been the Administrator of certified assisted livings for people who have Alzheimer’s disease as well as the Administrator of General Assisted Livings. She also worked for the Alzheimer’s Association in San Antonio as the Director of Programs and Education.

She has presented numerous speaking and educational presentations about Alzheimer’s disease and how to care for those suffering with dementia. Ms. Scott is on the faculty of the Center for Health Services Education and Research, where she teachs the upper level division courses in Assisted Living Management and Alzheimer’s and related dementia care. She is also a guest lecturer for the University of Texas Pharmacy School, and on the speakers bureau of the Alzheimer’s Association, Star Chapter. Ms. Scott graduated from The University of Maryland, Munich West Germany Campus, with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Administration. She currently holds a Certified Assisted Living Administrator Certificate, in the State of Texas.
