Candidate Screening Process
Our clients are provided with only the best quality candidates and the highest level of service. Our recruiting process begins by casting a wide net across many mediums, including print, web, and sourcing candidates directly. Each candidate then has to go through our rigorous screening process, eliminating 90% of all applicants. This ensures that our clients do not have to spend any time sifting through applications

Permanent
Placement Process
- Completing Agency Application
The process begins with completion of a detailed Client
Application which provides us with the details of your family and your unique requirements. This helps us a great deal in locating candidates that are best suited for your needs.
- Agency/Client Interview
After receiving
your online application, we will call
to confirm receipt of your information,
clarify your job description,
and answer any additional questions
you or we may have.
Following the meeting,
the membership fee is due (please note that $25 of every membership fee goes to local charities). The fee entitles
you to participate
in all of our other programs, including our
sitter services, temporary personal assistants, newborn care specialists, and temporary personal chefs.
Lastly,
we will need a signed copy of the Client Agreement
provided by your Placement Counselor. We would
be happy to go over any questions regarding the agreement.
Reviewing
Possible Candidates
After we receive your agreement, the membership fee, and
we have clarified exactly what you are looking
for, we will begin sending you candidates
that match your criteria. Each
personal profile will give you useful information on
the candidate's employment history, experience,
education, and much more. We will be sending you a select number of candidates, as we have significantly narrowed down the candidates through our rigorous screening process. This ensures that you will only see qualified, high caliber candidates, saving you as much time as possible in your search.
Arranging Interviews
Once you identify which candidates you
are interested in interviewing, we will contact
the candidate on your behalf to set up an interview.
Please call us following each interview to give us
your feedback on each candidate, so that if necessary, we may tailor our search to further meet your needs. If you are
interested in hiring one of the candidates
with whom you meet, we can let them know of
your potential interest so that they can choose
whether or not to go on other job interviews
before a final decision has been made. However,
please note that until a job offer has been
extended, any candidate signed on with our
agency will be considered available for interviews
and placement with other clients.
Final Selection Procedures
After the first round of interviewing, you
may want to bring one or two of the candidates
back for "trial days"
(not available for all positions), to observe
them in action as part of a working interview.
The candidate will be paid according
to the rates outlined by your Placement Counselor, and MBF
will waive the agency fees for two days or less. We have found that this working interview is an excellent opportunity for both candidates and clients to determine if they are a match for each other.
Making a Job Offer
After a choice has been
made, please notify MBF that you would like
to extend an offer
to a particular candidate. You
may choose to talk to that person directly about the
particulars of your position, or we can serve as an intermediary to negotiate an agreement between
you and the candidate of your choice. Please remember to always speak in terms of "gross pay" not "take
home" or "net pay" when negotiating
salary. Once you have proposed an offer
and your candidate has accepted, you will fill in your Employment Agreement provided by MBF, allowing
you to be very specific about the duties, compensation,
and terms of employment. After completing and signing by both
parties, please submit a copy to MBF. You should also contact
the Payroll Processing Manager at Breedlove
and Associates at 1-888-BREEDLOVE to begin
to set up your candidate's payroll if you prefer
outsourcing this function.
Referral Fee
The referral fee is due prior to your candidate's start date,
or within seven days of your decision to hire the candidate
(whichever comes first).
The fee is payable by check
or any major credit card, for the referral
of your candidate. In order to ensure your replacement guarantee,
we must have a copy of the Employment Agreement signed by
both parties (you and your candidate) before
your candidate's start date. For household staffing
candidates, an offer letter must also
be extended before the candidate starts.
Ongoing
Agency Support
MBF is available to meet any
of your needs both before and after you hire
a candidate through our service. Please feel free to call us
if you need any further assistance or advice. In some cases, we can arrange
back-up assistance for you should your employee
be sick or unable to fulfill an assignment for you.
Please inquire further about our temporary
services if interested, so we can provide you with
details in regard to services, rates, and fees.
- Feedback
Finally,
we rely upon your feedback in order to continually
provide you with exceptional service. Please
complete the agency and candidate evaluations after
your placement. Click here for
our online feedback form.
