As you prepare for the holiday season, MBF is available to help you in many ways. We offer personal chefs for your holiday cooking and parties. We also offer temporary nannies to help entertain your children and the children of your friends and associates at those fun holiday gatherings. We have staffed many corporate events in situations where an employer has an only event at a hotel or other facility and provides a conference room for us to set up play stations for the children with age appropriate activites and games. We also provide "holiday elves," our seasonal personal assistants/shoppers who can wrap gifts beautifully, pick up gift cards, drop off or mail Christmas gifts, make purchase and returns, help plan parties, put up the decorations, address holiday cards, and much more. If you read the October 27th Glossy Services insert in the Austin American Statesman, you would have seen an article which feautured these special holiday offerings from our company. Also feautured was a picture of my wonderful nanny, Katie (who I could not live without!), and my boy-girl twin 18-month-olds, James and Jordan, with Lexie, the family dog. While we are on the subject of holidays, don't forget to book your New Year's Eve sitter early! Look for our winter newsletter in early December which will contain many important updates and announcements. Make sure to let your nanny know how much you appreciate her this holiday season by providing time off to spend with her family, an end of year bonus or raise as appropriate, and/or a personal note of appreciation from you (her employer) and handwritten letters from the kids.
