We have found over the years that having specialized, dedicated staff who meet the unique needs of our Aspen clients most effectively provides the special attention that you deserve. Our fantastic group of employees have the enthusiasm, dedication and expertise to serve you.
Jill Smirl will gather the details of your position, confirm your requirements, and answer any questions that you may have about working with Mom’s Best Friend. She will be your key point of contact for all sitter bookings, as well as during the long-term placement process. Jill also interviews and screens all of our nannies, and oversees background and reference checks.
- Sitter placements: Jill will ensure that your placements are seamless, and that you are given outstanding customer service throughout the process. If you have a last-minute emergency request and it is after our normal business hours, you may call our emergency phone at 970.376.7765.
- Long term nanny placements: Jill will be sending you nannies that fit your needs, coordinate interviews, trial time, take you through the employment contract, and address any post-placement needs.
- Household staffing placements: Jill will be your primary contact throughout your non-childcare search and answer any questions that you may have about working with MBF Agency. She will gather all the details of your needs and preferences of your family/position. Jill works closely with our household candidates through the application process. She recruits, screens and conducts background checks, and confirms their credentials, such as exceptional experience and references for each candidate. Jill will secure the best possible fit for the position you are seeking to fill. She will also be your contact for all of your post-placement needs.
Your Placement Specialist, Deborah Hawk, assists Jill with babysitter placements, caregiver screening, and a number of other placement-related tasks.
Suzanne Sloan is our Business Development specialist, using her many years of experience in the community to educate clients, candidates and partners about the unique benefits of working with Mom's Best Friend.
Your Director of Marketing, Jessica Sjolseth, prepares and manages our Mom’s Best Friend website, promotional marketing materials, newsletters, and advertising. She manages all community outreach and public relations efforts for MBF, and is the point of contact for all media inquiries.
